Tragedy in Navakholo sub location, Kakamega County.
A 22 year old man will know his fate on December 9, 2022 after he told the court that bhang gives him strength to practice farming.
The man's names are Ian Wanjala.
Note; he was arrested on November 24, 2022 in Sivilie village in Bunyala East with bhang worth an estimated Ksh.20,000.
Afterwards, he appeared before Kakamega magistrate Carol Cheruiyot but he ended up defending himself that he is a law abiding citizen who opted to seek his livelihood through farming instead of engaging in crime.
Prosecution, led by Emily Owore has also confirmed to the court that the suspect is in possession of 144 plantations of the illegal substance.
The matter will be heard on December 9, 2022.
Otherwise; in a similar case about bhang, police officers from India have accused 'rats' for eating about 200kgs of Marijuana confiscated has evidence.
