Former Cabinet Secretary sentenced

Kenya has been faced by a very high corruption growth rate. Currently the government has been striving to fight and eradicate corruption.

Today a former Cabinet Secretary in the Uhuru has been sentenced in court for a jail term of six years or pay a fine of 6.3 Millions. Hassan Wario was presented in court today to face graft charges.

Mr Hassan has been accused of abusing office power and corruption. In the court toy senior magistrate Elizabeth Juma sentenced Mr Hassan to a six years jail term or pay a fine of three pont six Millions.

Mr Hassan is in hot sou and has to pay the fine or face the jail term which will really waste his life. The government of Kenya has to fight corruption and public property rooting so as to ensure that those in power do not abuse it.
