Tunataka 6K - DP Ruto's Kisumu Tour Backfires as Youth Heckle, Stage Protests at Kondele

The deputy President's William Ruto's day two tour in Kisumu county has turned chaotic and messy after a group of youths and Bodaboda riders heckled or disrupted his meeting planned at Kondele roundabout. The group of rowdy youths and riders began chanting anti-UDA slogans and singing mockery songs as the crowd at Kondele roundabout waited for the DP to arrive.

In the viral video, the youths are heard shouting that they rather go for six thousand shillings being offered by the Orange Democratic Movement party leader honourable Raila Amollo Odinga rather than Ruto's bottom up economics duped the wheelbarrow approach. " Tunataka pesa, 6k. Hatutaki wheelbarrow. Pesa!pesa!," the group shouted. Raila has promised 6k to every unemployed youths and vulnerable family as stipend Incase his 2022 bid materializes. Ruto on the other has pledged to employ bottom up economics in healing the economy and supporting SMEs.

Ruto's day one tour was peaceful as no heckling was experienced in his empowerment meeting where he met more 1000 youths.

Both OKA principals, Kieleweke and Tangatanga factions have experienced heckling during their vote hunts in different places around the country. Political leaders have called on their supporters to welcome every presidential candidate regardless of his/her party.
