A Sudanese Woman has been jailed for six months after finding her guilty of kissing a man.
The Woman who was earlier sentenced to death, as per Sudanese law, she was supposed to be stoned to death, since she had committed adultery.
Fortunately she was rescued by an institution known as, The African Centre For Justice And Peace, The institution termed the initial act as a grave violation of international law.
The twenty year old woman was arrested after her boyfriend was killed by her cousin.she was sentenced to death after she was found guilty by a court, in the city of koski, in Sudan's White Nile State.
The woman admitted meeting with the man and kissing him, though the society were ready to stone her , the International outcry saved her life. They defended her saying that she is so young to know such laws exists, though Sudan has some odd laws that are always overturned by court, since they don't make sense.
