Uasin Gishu Women representative Gladys Boss Sholei who is a staunch ally of DP William Ruto has now come up to defend the newly appointed Chief Justice Martha Koome by highlighting some weakness in Judiciary.
According to her, once the Judicial Service Commission has issued the names to the president it cannot be revisted again thus baring her from making any chances in the appointment of judgement.
On her statement on June 4, CJ Martha Koome said that she was not involved in the appointment of judges hence she was not in place to know them well. She urged the president to appointment the remaining six judges in order to fill the remaining gap of in the Judiciary.
Since the president appoint thirty four judges leaving behind six judges, there have been a big debate on the matter with some politicians calling on the president to appoint the remaining judges.
Also there are also cases that have already been filled at the courth wanting the Court to bar the newly appointed judges from resuming their office.
