Kenyans faced a gripping legal battle between lawyers during the hearing of the President's petition in the Supreme Court.
Azimio la Umoja's legal team, led by James Orengo and Philip Murgor, put up an impressive match against their opponents, led by Githu Muigai and Richard Ngatia.

The formidable Murgor once left the court impressed after switching dialect and dropping the famous Swahili saying "Siku Ya Nyani Kufa Miti Yote Huteleza".
Murgor responded to the original Form 34B presented to the court by Richard Ngatia. According to Murgor, the form Ngatia gave the judges showed the UDA agent had signed the form on Aug. 7, two days before the election.
Murgor's heroic moment was short-lived, however, after Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu asked him when the Azimio agent signed the form. According to Mwilu, both agents made a mistake by writing 7th instead of 9th. Murgor's claims were immediately brushed aside.

In the meantime, please let us know what you think about this matter.
