A post mortem result of a 14-year-old girl, identified as DN, tabled before the court showed that the victim sustained serious injuries on her back, neck and thighs. The medical report further points out that she suffered strangulation.
The court was told that Ondieki murdered the lass and attempted to cover up the heinous act by stuffing the badly mutilated body in two sacks. The bruised body, without a cloth, was later found dumped on a farm, her hands were tied with a piece of cloth.
All the nine witnesses pointed an accusing finger at the suspect, with the mother of the deceased noting that the bodaboda rider was the last person seen with her daughter a day before she went missing. The two were close neighbours.
She told Justice Rose Ougo that she was dumbfounded when she found out her daughter's body was found on a farm. When they went to the suspect's house, they found bloodstains on the floor and slippers - which she claimed were of her daughter's.
