During his daily briefs on the Virus, health CS Mutahi Kagwe said that even though there's a Vaccine, Kenyans should continue following the precautions put in place to reduce the rate of transmission of the virus.

The ministry also assured Kenyans that the vaccine is safe and even though it has been suspended in some parts of the world over fears of blood clotting, it has not been experimented to confirm that it is from the vaccine.

It also detailed that so far, nearly 20, 000 people have been vaccinated against Covid 19 and that they are expecting the number to go up in the coming days.

CS Mutahi cited that so far everyone is tired and perhaps needs to get some rest but at the same time, he urged Kenyans and the health workers not to get tired since at this time, everyone should fight the disease with all their might.
