The Cabinet Secretary of Health Hon Mutahi Kagwe has sent a message via the official verified Facebook page of The Ministry of Health concerning the state of Covid 19 in the country.
The Ministry of Health has informed Kenyans that in the last 24 hours 32 people have tested positive for the virus from a total sample size of 1, 446. The numbers clearly indicates that the positivity rate in the nation today is at 2.2 per cent.
In terms of County distribution, the Ministry of Health has informed Kenyans that Nairobi County has the highest number of new cases with 23 cases followed by Kisumu with 5 cases.
The country has also recorded 48 new recoveries and all the recoveries come from the home based isolation and care program. No death has been reported in the country.
3 patients are admitted in health care facilities in the country and 296 are in the home based isolation and care program.
