Anger is a normal and even, a healthy emotion, but its very important to deal with it in a positive way. Uncontrolled anger can bring problems into your life and even to your relationships.
Consider these 10 anger management tips in order to get your anger under control.
1.Think before you speak
When you are heated up, it is likely to say things that you will regret later and so its important to stay quite until the moment you cool down. Take few moments to collect your thoughts before saying anything.
2.Once you are calm, express your anger.
As soon as you are thinking clearly, express your frustration in a sober and non confrontational manner.
3.Get some exercise.
Physical activity reduces stress. When you feel your anger escalating, just go for a walk or run. This will make relax and think clearly.
4.Identify possible solutions.
Instead of focusing on what made you mad, concentrate on finding a solution to the situation at hand.
5.Do not hold grudges.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool. If you allow anger to crowd positive feelings, you might find yourself swallowed up by your own bitterness. But if you forgive someone who angered you, you might both learn from the situation and strengthen your relationship in the process.
