Residents in Homa Bay county are being urged to seek prompt medical assistance if they have watery, diarrhea, or vomiting as a result of a cholera epidemic alert that has been issued.

The representative for public health and medical services on the county executive committee According to Roseline Omollo, five members of the same family have already received treatment and been released after being diagnosed with cholera.
