COVID-19: The Breakfast Food that Can Boost Your Immunity

With the COVID-19 still coming with different variants that are deadly like the Delta, the best thing that you may need to focus on is your immunity. You would want to strengthen your immunity so as not to come down with the deadly virus when it gets to you. Scientists have identified a great combination for breakfast that you can start your day with to have your immunity at its best. 

According to the American Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including avocados in your breakfast can help strengthen your immunity system. The CDC scientists note that avocados have a great mix of vitamins C and B, antioxidants and anti-inflammation that are key in immunity functions. This means avocados are rich in nutrients that can help keep COVID-19 and its various strains at bay.

World Health Organization (WHO) also observes that not only does avocado offer the immunity the strengthening it requires to have you strong but there are also other major benefits. Avocados are a source of monosaturated fats that facilitate the intake of immune-regulating vitamin D which in turn enhances healthy heart and brain.

To work effectively, you can eat your avocado before eating your breakfast. Eating the fruit on an empty stomach will make its absorption easier and get into the bloodstream soon after consumption. For a better experience, the fruit can also be blended into a smoothie that can take down whatever you will be having breakfast.
