The Government of Kenya through the Cabinet Secretary for Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development Ms. Betty Maina has today invited all the Media companies for a public address tomorrow Monday (02/08/2021) at NSSF Building runaway, Nairobi starting from 11am. Betty Maina together with her team will address the business communities on the role it's ministry is doing to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus disease. The media will then provide full coverage and share it with the general public.
This addresses are coming a time when the cases of covid-19 disease have highly continued to soar. For the last three days, Kenya has recorded more than 2500 total new infections with a dangerous new variant reported. Kenyan's have therefore been warned against ignoring Ministry of Health protocols and hence veryone should be responsible for himself or herself to avoid more restrictions being introduced over the existing ones.
