Covid 19 pandemic is still affecting people around the world. Although the scientists discovered vaccines that can potentially prevent the spread of the virus, millions of people have not been vaccinated. Another challenge is the supply of covid 19 vaccines. There is high demand for the vaccines around the world against the low supply.
Governments are employing various measures to control the spread of the virus. Quarantine and self isolation is one of the measures being used to control the virus. Russian President Vladimir Putin is self-isolating after several members fell ill with COVID-19. Putin, who has received two shots of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine has said that he is healthy.
"It's a natural experiment. Let's see how Sputnik V works in practice," Putin said. "I have quite high levels of antibodies. Let's see how that plays out in real life. I hope everything will be as it should be."
The situation is putting Sputnik V vaccines into test. If President Putin do not have the virus then we will know that the vaccine is efficient.
