COVID-19 has been the worst thing that ever fell to this world. Apart from making people suffer health wise, it has for the past one and half a year destroyed our social life to the point that if you talk about some of the things we used to do with toddlers some will not believe you.
In Kenya in 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic hit us so hard that the government was forced to put some restrictions like closing all social places like schools, churches, bars and also restricting all public gatherings indefinitely. The restrictions helped us in a way and atleast we found a way to survive. In Uganda currently there has been an upward surge in COVID-19 infections.
In light of this President Museveni has today(6-6-2020) like Kenya directed closure of schools, bars and worship centers for 42 days. The directive also suspends all public gatherings for the next 42 days.
This may not be thn preferred directive by Ugandan citizens but as they say health comes first.
