Orange democratic party leader Honerable Raila Odinga Ally, Honerable Peter Kaluma has elicited mixed reactions online after his latest tweet on how covid-19 virus is being handled in the country. He has claimed that some people who took part in looting Billions of money that was meant to save lives are still roaming around freely despite being mentioned heavily in the syndicate. The member of Parliament went on to question if anti corruption government agency is Still functioning, since those who looted KEMSA are not yet arrested and prosecuted.
Kenyan government lost a lot of money in tendering process that was aimed at procuring equipment that were to be used by medical professionals, and other people who were fighting the virus. It was claimed that, some companies benefited from the money despite not saplying anything at KEMSA stores. Some companies did not even have the right documents that were part of requirements before being given attender, but were awarded the same.
