Depression has been a major problem in the country with a lot of people unsure of where to go for help and so they end up commiting suicide and in some cases murder as well.
Depression is a condition that can be cured just with the right kind of help from psychiatrists who are trained to handle such cases.
Police officers have been coming out who are suffering from depression and this is a step in the right direction as help is sometimes readily available.
A video of a police officer doing rounds on social media has attracted a lot of attention as the officer cries for help from the public.
The police officer is identified as Kiprotich and is attached to a police station in Marsabit where he took the video from.
The officer is appealing for help and he says that he is not ready to leave his wife behind who he confesses is pregnant with their child.
The officer insists that he has been suffering from depression for a while but no one seems to be coming to his aid.
