Basing on the reports from the ministry of health where the health cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has delivered new updates on Covid-19 and it is clear that Kisumu County is stkll leading in terms of new cases.
The county has recorded a total of 54 new cases and they have distributed as shown below.
Kisumu County has been followed so close by Nairobi County after the MOH reported 53 cases in Nairobi.
In general, the country has reported the total number of new cases as 383 after a huge sample size of 3, 930 was conducted. Out of the 383 confirmed cases, 377 are Kenyans and 6 are foreigners.
From the 383 cases, 234 are male while 149 are females.
33 more individuals recovered and they are distributed as follows; 18 are from various health facilities in countrywide while 15 are from Home Based and Isolation Care Program.
The positivity rate of the country stands at 9.7 per cent. Kenyans are urged to stay safe by observing all Covid-19 protocols.
