Since the wake of Corona virus pandemic in the world in December 2019, a substantial number of people across the globe have lost their lives and loved ones due to the deadly Covid-19 disease.
Kenya as well has recorded multiple deaths as a result of Covid-19. However, the Ministry of Health today has left a myriad number of Kenyans in great aghast after giving a glimpse of the number of people who succumbed to Covid-19 on this month of August.
MOH articulated that Covid-19 deaths doubled this month. Statistics indicate that 597 people have so far succumbed to Covid-19 disease on August as compared to 297 Covid-19 deaths reported on July this year.
32 is the highest number of death ever reported in Kenya in single day since the pandemic began. However, this number of deaths (32) has been reported five times so far this month- August 5,8,10,12 and 21, 2021.
These details show how the fourth wave of covid-19 infections is dangerous. Lets therefore continue observing Ministry of health Covid19 laid down containment measures.
