A urinary tract infection is a condition caused by bacteria or fungi and can happen anywhere in the urinary system(kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra).
In most cases, it affects the bladder or urethra and some of the symptoms include; cloudy/bloody urine,odor urine,pain in pelvic,burning while urinating and frequent urge to urinate.

1. Levaquin (levofloxacin)
It kills the bacteria infections. Some of its common side effects are nausea,constipation, headache and dizziness.
2. Ciprofloxacin
It stops additional bacteria growth. It may cause abdominal pain, rashes, headache, vomiting among others.
3. Fosfomycin
It is used to treat bladder infections including acute cystitis
4. Nitrofurantoin
This antibacterial drug is used in treating various infections such as bladder, ear and minor skin infections.
5. Cephalexin
It works by stopping bacteria growth.
