People with flat feet also usually have knocked knees and this is because there is uneven distribution of body weight on the lower body .

Lack of enough mobility and movement together with weak bones / vitamin result in the lower body being affected . Luckily there are exercises and steps proven to improve this and get arched feet

1.Use Of Insoles

Individuals who have flat feet require insoles which offer structural support to allow them to have support while performing tasks which they would normally complain of pain. An example is working out at the gym or standing for a while .The flat feet can't carry the pressure of the body but the insoles help mimmick an arched feet which in turn distributes the body weight equally to relieve pressure.

Knowing whether you have stiff flat feet or flexible flat feet is the first step in choosing the finest insoles for flat feet. It's critical to distinguish between stiff and flexible flat feet since each arch requires a different flat foot insole arch height.

When you stand on stiff flat feet, they remain flat even when your feet aren't carrying any weight. You have stiff flat feet if you cross one foot over the other knee and it still seems flat.

in this case low arch height insole is recommended

When you stand on flexible flat feet, they are flat, but when they are unweighted, they display an arch.

For this medium arch insoles work best

2.Workout

Weak ankles is one contributor to flat feet . Lack of ankle movement promotes this condition by causing the tendons on the feet to collapse inwards . This is usually caused by sitting on work desk so much and not stretching the body enough and gaining weight

To fix this one should exercise by moving the ankles as illustrated below

Heel raise strengthens the toe and arch area and overtime create projection for heel arch .

3.Maintain Better Body Posture

Sometimes your body posture affects how your legs , knees and physique is . Be aware of how you rest your body. If you find out that you push your body outward and strain your spine or slouch , chances are the hip bone and the rest of the body posture is affected .

Keep your posture straight and your pelvis inwards

4.Walking Style

If you are the type to walk on your heel , switch it up and consciously determine yourself to walk on your tip toes .

Also balance your body with the outside of your feet instead of inwards . Do this while incorporating the other exercises to see improvement.
