According a report provided by the Mutahi Kagwe led Ministry of Health on Thursday evening, a total of 5673 new samples have been tested for Corona virus disease within the last 24 hours. Cumulatively, the Ministry has established that it has conducted over 1,624,000 tests in the country so far.
The Ministry of Health has said that 904 new cases of covid-19 have been realized within the past 24 hours. Cumulatively, a total of 154392 individuals in Kenya have been confirmed positive for the viral disease.
The country's total number of corona virus related casualties has surged to2560. This is after the Ministry recorded a total of 20 new Covid-19 related casualties in the past 24 hours.
However, 88 new individuals have recovered from the virus in the last twenty four hours. The total number of recoveries so far realized in the country according to the Ministry of Health is standing at 105367.
