Machakos gubernatorial candidate Nzioka Waita has promised to revive dwindling Machakos health sector.
Speaking at Makutano in Mwala sub county Waita said that the health sector in the county has been marred with demos and strikes an indication that something is a miss.
He promised to engage and talk to stakeholders to ensure service delivery in the health sector is improved.
Waita spoke this after organising for a free medical camp in Mwala and Yatta sub counties that saw over 10,000 locals benefit.
"The medical camp is just a start we will ensure everything is running smoothly and everyone is doing their job for the benefit of Mwananchi,"he said.
Waita asked locals to shun party politics that have made the region be left behind. He urged them to vote for leaders who have their interests at heart. On the same he promised to ensure public funds are safeguarded stressing that he wont allow laziness.
"Parties don't do development projects and that is why our people should focus on chosing good leaders not parties, party politics are long gone by,"he observed.
Waita was accompanied by his runningmate Florence Mwangangi and Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi.
