Who Owns The "Always" Sanitary Pad Company?

Sanitary pad, which is also known as sanitary napkin or menstrual pad, is a thin pad made of absorbent material that absorbs the menstrual fluid during menstruation. Most of the sanitary pads available in the market are disposable however, some can be washed and reused.

Sanitary pads as menstrual hygiene products are very easy to use and dispose unlike tampons which are associated with toxic and shock syndrome. Large percentage of sanitary pads is produced by Procter and Gamble Company. This company produces sanitary napkins branded "Always". It is one of the largest producer of menstrual products and other consumer goods like pantyliners and disposal underwear for night-time wear.

Procter and Gamble Company commonly known as P&G is an American Company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This company was founded in 1983 and it's current CEO is Mr. David S. Taylor. P&G company manufactures most of its sanitary pads in Belleville, Ontario and Canada at a 700,000 square feet plant with 175,000 square feet of warehouse.

According to Courier research, P&G company earns a total cash of approximately US$ 7714600 billion annually. Other companies which are considered major competitors for P&G include: Colgate-Palmolive, Church and Dwight and Unilever.
