Breaking News: Not Mandatory to Wear Mask Health Cabinet Secret Announces

The cabinet secret of health hon Mutahi Kagwe has made it clear that it is now not mandatory to wear face mask in public places as it has been the norm since the offset of the corona virus pandemic in the country.

However in indoor meetings people may be required to wear face masks.

The CS noted that Kenyans will no longer be required to wear masks in public places but will be required to do so when visiting government offices or using Public Service Vehicles.

To ensure that vulnerable people are able to travel safely, everyone was required to wear a face mask in public transport settings.

The Omicron variant is highly contagious. Wearing a medical face mask helps protect you and the people around you. If others wear a face mask, they are also protecting you and going by the directive, people should not take this as a relieve.
