Covid-19 pandemic has become the talk of the day with devastating reports from the ministry of health revealing that we are experiencing the third wave of this pandemic that is now becoming clear that it's more dangerous than anyone could have anticipated.
The report by the star is that four members of parliament are currently admitted in the hospital for covid-19 where one of them is in ICU under critical condition. National assembly speaker Justine Muturi was informed of the sad news triggering his statement to caution the public to observe the covid-19 protocols to stay safe.
Still, on the covid-19 pandemic, the former prime minister Raila Odinga was reported to have been taken back to Nairobi hospital but later discharged, where the information gave is that his doctors advised him to go back for a normal check-up. It's in our record that Raila was discovered to be covid-19 positive and after few days in hospital he was discharged and advised to self isolate at home, and the report is that he is doing well in the fight against this dangerous virus restoring his normal health conditions.
It's a call to everyone to strictly observe preventive measures even as we wait to receive the vaccine in the order provided because this is the only sure way we shall eliminate this virus from our nation.
