5 Natural Recipes to Cure the flu

The flu is a common viral infection that attacks the lungs, nose, and throat. Young children, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with chronic illness or weakened immune systems are at high risk.

Symptoms are fever, chills, muscle pain, cough, congestion, runny nose, headache, and fatigue.

Treatment for the flu consists mainly of rest and rehydrating to allow the body to fight the infection on its own. Non-prescription anti-inflammatory pain relievers can help relieve symptoms. An annual vaccine can also prevent influenza and limit complications from it.

 Some natural recipes

Boil 15 eucalyptus leaves and 15 guava leaves for 10 to 15 minutes. Then do the steam bath and drink 1/2 glass 2 times a day for the child and 1 glass 2 times a day for the adult for a week.

Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, this herb helps reduce flu symptoms and relieves the respiratory tract. Its antispasmodic effect reduces coughing attacks and helps unclog the nose and soothe sore throat.

Finely chop a clove of garlic, put the garlic in a teaspoon and swallow the garlic, followed by half a glass of water. The symptoms will go away within a few hours. Garlic is also a powerful anti-viral. They make great allies in fighting the flu and especially fever if taken regularly.

Cut 3 onions and put in a liter of water, leave for 12 hours.

Dose: drink 1 glass during the meal and 1 glass at bedtime.

Honey is a natural antibacterial, antioxidant and antibiotic. It may be effective in reducing dry coughs and soothing mild sore throats.

Taking a mixture of lemon and honey several times a day in hot water helps relieve symptoms. These two simple foods are a great remedy for a sore throat. Lemon provides vitamin C and has an antibacterial action, while honey has a soothing effect on irritated mucous membranes.

Ginger is one of the most effective natural remedies for sore throats. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger also helps reduce joint pain. You just need to eat fresh to benefit from it .
