The outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic has really caused lose of many lives globally. The United States of America is one of the countries that have been greatly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. The disease has led to the closure of schools and even some civil servants in the country were forced to go home in order to reduce the spread of the virus.
Despite the fact that the United States of America is one the countries that are producing the COVID 19 vaccines, some of its citizens have refused to be vaccinated. So far more than 344 million doses have been administered and more than 164 million people have been fully vaccinated which represent 49.9% of the total population. The USA has more than 300 million people and the above information shows that around a half of the people have not received COVID 19 vaccines.
The United States of America president Joe Biden has come up with measures to ensure that all people get vaccinated. The President said that all civil servants will have to fill the vaccination form or show the certificate of being tested for COVID 19. The good news to the Americans is that Biden directed the states to give out $100 to those who will accept to be vaccinated. This is equivalent to around Ksh.10,860. The only remaining issue is to see how the citizens of the United States of America will respond to the Biden's announcement.
