Today's COVID-19 Update

In the last 24 hours the country has recorded 11 new positive cases from a sample size if 2, 463. The positivity rate today is currently at 0.5 per cent. From today's cases 9 are Kenyans and 2 are foreigners. 7 females and 4 males. The youngest is 19 years and the oldest is 81 years old.

In terms of distribution of cases in the country Nakuru county is leading with three cases followed by Nairobi with two cases, Murang'a 2 cases, Wajir 2 cases, Trans Nzois 1 and finally Kericho 1 case.

In the last 24 hours the Ministry has also informed Kenyans that 15 patients have recovered 8 from home based isolation and care program and 7 from the health care facilities in the country.

On to another good news there was no death recorded in the last 24 hours. The death toll in the country remains at 5, 333.
