66 new positive covid-19 cases have just been confirmed in Kenya. This comes as a big shock to citizens as it is the highest number of positive cases reported in a day since the virus was reported in March.
Below is a breakdown of the new cases.
Out of 2621 tests done;
64 are Kenyans while 2 are Canadians.
43 males and 23 females
Age range; 10 - 64 years
Total number of cases: 1029.

This action has been taken due to the rapid increase of positive cases in the town. The two towns are currently hot spots therefore adequate measures have to be taken in those areas.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe added that restaurants and mosques within those areas will remain closed until further notice.
Movement into and out of Nairobi is also restricted until June 6th.
