According to details released by her office, the First Lady held a virtual Beyond Zero technical working group meeting. The meeting drew participants from the Kenyan Ministry of Health, National Aids Control Council as well as @NASCOP and other development and implementing partners as well as civil society organizations
In her address, she applauded all those frontline service providers who have been sacrificing so much to ensure that Kenyans are safe health-wise.
She thanked the Kenyan nurses for always being among those who have been at the forefront of ensuring that Kenyans are safe during a time that the country is dealing with impacts of the novel Corona virus pandemic.

She has also been at the forefront of supporting her Beyond Zero campaign aims to accelerate the implementation of the national plan towards the elimination of new HIV infections among children.
The ‘Beyond Zero campaign’ is part of the initiatives outlined in the Strategic Framework for the engagement of the First Lady in HIV control and promotion of maternal, newborn and child health in Kenya that was unveiled on World AIDS Day 2013.
