Revealed, Several VIPs Admitted in Hospital for Covid 19 as the Third Wave Bites

According the standard media, several VIPs are fighting for their lives in various hospitals across the country as the third wave of covid 19 take a bite throughout the country.This has been revealed after the deputy Governor Kericho county succumbed to covid 19 complication on Saturday at 9am while undergoing treatment at Siloam Hospital in Kericho where she had been admitted for the last five days.

On Friday, Mandera’s CEC Finance and Economic Planning Ibrahim Barrow Hassan succumbed to the disease and was promptly buried as per Islamic traditions.

Another VIP is former primer Raila Odinga who is yet to be cleared of the disease, after being taken ill at Nairobi hospital.He is recuperating well at home where he went for isolation.

Yet still, Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi contracted the virus a few days after getting vaccinated.He was still in hospital by last evening.

It has been reported that more VIPs who are undisclosed are under hospital care they include :

An undisclosed vocal nominated MP whose voice has been missing in BBI debates is hospitalised in the city.

1. A governor, of one of the 47 counties.

2. A chair of a parliamentary committee in the national assembly.

3.A top security official in the current government

4. A member of a prominent Kenyan family.

5. Apart from them ,many other mid-level eminent people are either in hospital or in isolation due to contracting covid 19.

As of yesterday the number of hospital admissions due to coranavirus shot up from 830 yesterday to 845.While total of 123 people are under ICU care.

There is need for people to take the regulations from the health department seriously.
