Radio jambo's Reggae presenter Lion Deh has fallen sick and hospitalised at the Komarock modern hospital, Nairobi.

His hospitalisation was published by Lion Deh's co-host, Daniel Mwangi, aka Mbusii, who appealed for an urgent blood donation to bring his friend back to normal.

"Urgent medical appeal, Lion Deh has been admitted to hospital with severe anaemia and requires blood donation, blood group O-positive @komarock modern hospital utawala... Kindly assist and keep him in your prayers," reads mbusii's announcement.

According to Mayo clinic, Anaemia is a condition in which the blood does not have enough healthy red blood cells or dysfunctional red blood cells in the body.

The condition hence leads to reduced oxygen flow to the body's organs and some of the symptoms of someone suffering anaemia include: Fatigue, Skin Pallor, shortness of breath, light-headedness, dizziness, or a fast heartbeat.

The Radio Jambo 'Teketeke' fans joined the conversation wishing him a quick recovery.
