Good News to Kenyans as the Government Issues This Directive

According to the earlier directive by Joseph Kinyua, all civil servants were to receive the first jab of covid 19 by Monday, August 23, failure to which they would have their salaries and allowances stopped

According to, President Kenyatta dismissed the directive while speaking to the media at state house, the head of state said that no Kenyan should be forced to take the vaccine. He further ordered that teachers and civil servants be allowed to take the covid 19 vaccination at their own volition and not trough coercion

The head of state further stated that they will not force anybody to take the jab, but they will encourage Kenyans, especially those who are in the vulnerable bracket because it is essential for them to be vaccinated

Earlier this week, vaccination centers and hospitals registered a surge in numbers as civil servants and teachers lined up in a bid to beat the deadline set by the government.
