The county has so far lost a total of 15 medical officers to Covid-19 since March last year. However,the challeges in medical facilitaties is thought to be the major cause of such losses.
The demise of Dr Kenneth Mutuma who was dedicated to save life at Mbagathi hospital is a regret and a big loss to kenyas to Medical Practitioner,Pharmacist and Dentist Union KMPDU. Dr Kenneth succumbed to Covid-19 complications while receiving treatment.
The Covid-19 numbers in the third wave, have gone significantly higher,and citizens are argued to be more vigilant and put into consideration the laid down protocol on prevention of spread of the disease.
The total number of infections over the last few days has surpassed the 1000 mark. Today new infections stand at 1274. The deaths are at 1994 since March last year, today 12 people have succumbed to the disease. In deed we have to take precautions.
