The Amount of Loans and grants Given to Kenyan Government in Response to Covid-19 Pandemic

Over the last 12 months the world has been battling Covid-19. The deadly pandemic was first discovered in Wuhan China in 2019. The disease spreads very fast and within three or four months the world was crying because of the rapid spread of the disease.

In Kenya particularly, the first person tested postive for the disease early 2020. Since then the Kenyan government has been doing all it can to combat the disease. Basically, it's too expensive to fight the disease since alot of resources are required. It is even more challenging for a developing country to manage the disease, which has overstretched the health facilities even in developed states.

To counter the disease Kenyan government has continued to borrow loans from different financial institutions; world bank being one of them. Kenya has also been receiving grants from different states and individuals. Despite all these grants and loans, Kenya has continued to walk under the Covid-19 umbrella. It is so astonishing that with all those grants and loans Kenya is still among the countries heavily hit by the pandemic. Honestly, as a country we have a problem that we need to seriously work on. What is your thought about all those loans for Covid-19 but no remarkable reflection on its fight??
