
The giant betting firm in Kenya Sportpesa on Tuesday took goodies to residents of Bomet County.
Sportpesa CEO Ronald Karuru a team from the betting firm in launching the maternal health support at Ndaraetta Health Center in Bomet County.
Sportpesa delivered hospital beds among other materials. They also gave sports kits to locals.
"Early this morning, we launched the Maternal Health support project at Ndarawetta Health Centre, in Bomet County that saw us deliver hospital beds and support the construction of their kitchen and also gave out football kits. SportPesa CEO, @KarauriR graced the event," Sportpesa tweeted.

The CEO said that the move to deliver goodies in the county is part of the firm's plan to empower communities.
“It is important to empower our communities, and as SportPesa we are committed to supporting maternal health to ensure that women do not have to travel long distances to get professional maternal health care," said Karuri.
