Simple Stomach Massage That Will Quickly Relieve Indigestion And Bloating

One of the most unpleasant sensations is having an upset stomach(indigestion). You can't eat properly and feel "full" if you haven't eaten much. It certainly takes the focus away from having a good day!

After a meal, indigestion happens when the upper portion of the digestive system does not function properly. This results in excess gas production in the stomach, a sensation of bloating, the need to burp, and other indigestion symptoms. As a result, it is always recommended that you eat your food slowly and thoroughly.

Bloating usually relates to a feeling of fullness or distension in the abdomen (tummy area). It is more commonly reported by women than men. Medically, it is not well-defined and usually suggests the presence of excessive wind (or gas). The feeling of bloating can arise due to food intolerances, constipation or premenstrual cramps.

Here is a step by step simple massage that will help you relieve indigestion and bloating in less than 5 minutes:

1.Lie on your back on the floor or a mat. While doing so, make sure your knees are bent and your feet are flat.

2.Place both hands on your stomach and begin massaging in a circular motion. Repeat in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.

3.As you continue to massage, inhale and exhale.

4.You can also apply light pressure to the painful areas. Continue massaging the abdomen until it feels relaxed.

5.You can also try increasing your water intake.

While indigestion rarely leads to severe problems, it can have a negative impact on your quality of life by making you feel miserable and making you eat less. Your symptoms can cause you to miss work or school. When indigestion is induced by an underlying disorder, the condition may present its own set of problems.
