The opening of the health facility is a huge boost to Muminji ward residents, Embu North and it's neighbouring constituency Embu South since Embu general hospital is far from them.
The facility which opened it's operation doors today, will see Embu North and Embu South residents benefit from theatre services, maternity services, dental services and general health check up services.
Genvis Medical center which was opened by the national assembly speaker Justin Muturi is an advantage since it's easily accessible by Embu North and Embu South residents.
Muturi urged the residents to enroll for NHIF in large numbers because the hospital is NHIF accredited and that the health insurance scheme will enable the residents to access quality and affordable health treatment and check ups.
The 35 beds capacity health facility is full equipped with a section of a snake bite wing due to the climate of the area that is condussive to snakes.
Genvis Medical center senior doctor and managing director said that the hospital will help ease the struggle that expectant mothers have been experiencing of having to go all the way to Embu level five hospital for delivery despite the poor roads accessibility from Muminji ward.
