President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to address the nation anytime from now. He is most likely to address matters concerning the Covid-19 situation and protocols.
In the last 24 hours a total of 719 People have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 7608 people which represents a 9.5 positivity rate.
Therefore the president might choose to put more measures to deal with the pandemic and especially in the Nairobi area which has been leading with number of cases in the past few days.
The head of state is also expected to address the curfew and partial restrictions of open air markets put on the counties of Busia, Vihiga, Kisii, Nyamira, Kakamega, Bungoma, Kericho, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Siaya, Homa-Bay and Migori.
Uhuru might also address the issue of vaccine where Kenya has received 14 Billion shillings from the World bank for the purchase of vaccines.
