Eldoret Hospital Doctors Successfully Complete Beatrice's Surgery

On Tuesday, a group of Multi-Disciplinary Team from Moi Teaching and Referal Hospital in Eldoret successfully removed the cystic growth that had caused Beatrice a headache over years.

Beatrice Makokha explained that she felt a mild pain on her right eye which she assumed to be a mere headache.

After almost 21 years ago, the pain has transformed into a serious growth that has since developed into a a big lump that has covered her face.

“It felt like my eye was being stabbed with a knife and I just couldn’t stop rubbing it. The rubbing would slowly get intense and vigorous until my eye turned red," Makokha told the Star during an interview at her home in Stabicha in Kimilili, Bungoma county.

From the tweet Mike Sonko make it touched thousands of Kenyans that made an effort to Beatrice undergoing surgery.

I have come across the story of Beatrice Makokha who is suffering from a face growth that is making her struggle to breath. I have been touched by the plight of Beatrice and my team is ready to assist her with medical aid so that she can undergo surgery in India.
