The Ministry of Health has this night briefed Kenyans on the state of COVID-19 revealing that today bis day 983 since the first virus was first reported in the country.
314 samples were tested and from the samples the Ministry of Health has informed Kenyans that 20 people have tested for the virus.
12 of the new cases are males and 8 are females.
In terms of county distribution Nairobi has 19 cases and Siaya only 1 case.
The very good news to Kenyans is that 104 patients have recovered. All of the recoveries are from the home based isolation and care program. No fatality was reported.
24 patients are currently admitted in hospitals around the country and a total of 627 patients are in the home based isolation and care program.
