Ministry of Health has reported that the new number of covid-19 recoveries has risen by 631 to 118,226 within the last twenty four hours. Health CS Kagwe has said that 135 patients were in hospitals and 496 were in the home-based care program.
According to the Ministry of Health, the country's death toll has risen by 21 to 3,308 within the last twenty four hours. The MoH has said that all deaths are late reports confirmed after audit of facility records in April and May.
Mutahi Kagwe has confirmed that 148 more Covid-19 cases have been reported from a sample size of 2,163 tested in the past 24 hours. The total number of positive cases are now at 172,639.
