The Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua and his boss President William Ruto paid an official visit to Nyanza region for two days. Yesterday they visited Homa Bay County where they did alot of things relating to infrastructural development.
Today, DP Rigathi Gachagua and President Ruto completed their two-day working tour in Nyanza region by visiting Siaya county. In Siaya county, the two leaders commissioned the new Science Research hub at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology.

During their visit to Siaya county, President William Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua were warmly welcomed by Siaya county governor Hon. James Orengo and other leaders at Nango primary school.
While giving out his speech in Siaya, DP Rigathi Gachagua comically told Nyanza Leaders that they should decrease using tough jargons when they visit of Deputy President's office or offices of the various CS. "Nyanza Leaders, when you visit my office or the CSs, please go easy on the English vocabulary." Rigathi Gachagua stated.
