Michael Otieno is a young Kenyan boy who has been struggling with sickle cell disease since the age of two. Despite his illness, he has shown incredible determination and strength, taking himself to the hospital when he was in need of medical attention. His story has touched the hearts of many, and demonstrates how resilience and courage can be found in the face of adversity. At the age of five, Michael was admitted to a hospital to receive treatment for his condition.
He was in great pain and knew that he needed help, so he decided to take action and make his way to the hospital. During the journey, he asked his relatives to forgive him for having to leave them, knowing that he needed medical attention. Once at the hospital, he was given treatment and began to make a recovery. His positive attitude and determination inspired those around him and showed the power of faith in the face of adversity.
Michael’s story has been shared around the world and is an example of how courage and determination can help us overcome even the most difficult of times. His strength and resilience in the face of his illness is an inspiration for us all.
