Nyeri Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu has pleaded with Kenyans who attended the 58th Madaraka day Celebrations at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium, Kisumu County to self Quarantine themselves for the safety of other Kenyans across the Country.
Karugu spoke to the Saturday Nation saying that the risk of people getting infected with the new wave of Covid-19 Pandemic is very high. She urged Kenyans to follow the Covid-19 protocol for their own safety and their loved ones.
A few days ago, President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta led the Madaraka day Celebrations in Kisumu County. And according to the Report that was given out by Citizen TV. Most of people who showed up for the Celebrations did not have mask, and there was also no Social Distance
Currently, Kisumu County is taking lead in the Infections of Covid-19. And according to the Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, he is urging the people from the Nyanza Region to take the Covid-19 Vaccine for Protection.
