Good News as Doctors Makes The Following Announcement

The national advisory council has suspended doctors strike which was to take effective tomorrow Monday 6th December.

They have resolved on dialogue to solve the issue of the doctors. Failure for the two parties to agree within 14 days, the doctors will commence their strike on 21st December.

"The National Advisory Council has resolved to Suspend the Strike for 14 days to allow for dialogue. KMPDU thanks @NAssemblyKE & @Senate_KE for their efforts." KMPDU stated.

The Kenya Medical Pharmacists and Dentist Union (KMPDU) demands 11 issues to be addressed by the government. The issues which includes lack of PPEs, doctors allowances, medical covers and good working conditions.

"The government MUST address the 11 issues in the strike Notice failure to which the strike will commence on 21st December." KMPDU continued.
