Ruto has finally shed light on Genetically Modified Organism ,food products.While answering a question by journalist Joash on Wednesday evening a going on interview being aired by Nation, the president has said that GMO food is not bad as his critics are saying.The president has said as a scientist he has been consuming genetically modified foods and he can't note any bad effect.To cement his point the president said that other countries such as USA and South Africa have been using the products and they still survive.He noted that his ambition is to see that no Kenyan dies of hunger.
The president also revealed that the food that has always been in imported in Kenya is GMO foods.He said the only difference is the percentage ,which has always been one percent.He noted those opposing his idea want to gain political advantages and do not care about Kenya ,but negative propaganda is their goal.
