Today the ministry of health has delivered encouraging news since in almost every part of the updates. Starting with the positivity rate, it has dropped by 0.9 per cent as per yesterday's report from the ministry the country was at 9.3%.
The new positive cases has also dropped from the previous 624 to 488. The same has applied in the number of deaths. Yesterday the country lost 19 individuals while today the number has reduced by 3.
Total recoveries has also continued to rise and this is actually encouraging.
Kenyans citizens have raised their concern to the ministry of health immediately the Covid-19 updates were released. Reliablesources had revealed that there might be high chances of the country being attacked by the fourth wave in July according to how the virus had been worsening at an interval of three months.
This has propelled kenyans to ask the health cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe to specify to them wheb will the peak of that forth will be felt. The reason after this is that to avoid being ambushed by the President in terms strict measures like lifting of curfew hours and lockdowns.
My request to all kenyan citizens is that let us observe Covid-19 protocols so that we participate in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
