Breaking; Another Deadly And Highly Contagious Strain Of Covid-19 Virus Detected

Covid-19 virus was detected in Wuhan, China before spreading to other countries around the world. The virus has so far killed millions of people around the world including our country, Kenya. Several people are still admitted in different hospitals and others are in critical conditions.

The World has recovered different types of covid-19 variants which includes; Omicron, Delta, Alpha and Beta. The Delta variant was detected in Delta in India while Omicron was detected in South Africa last year, 2021.

According to report share by Daily Monitor, it has been reported that, a new sub type of Omicron variant has been detected in different parts of the world. It is believed that, the new version of omicron is deadly are highly contagious than the earlier variant. Furthermore, the WHO has revealed that, the new version of omicron have been reported in 57 countries so far. Furthermore, the experts has revealed that, the new version is more deadly and all countries should be ready to curb it as soon as possible.

This comes in after several countries around the world had issued new directives to stop the spreading of omicron variant. Some International countries banned flights from some African countries.

Also our country has been recording new positive cases. Most cases are being reported in Nairobi county and Nakuru county. Kenyans are being encouraged to follow guidelines from the ministry of health to reduce more infections in the country.

The Ministry of health also is still encouraging unvaccinated Kenyans to go for this important vaccines to fight covid-19 virus. Vaccines are very important because they improve the immune system.

Also side effects of covid-19 vaccines should be reported as soon as possible to any health facility.
